South Fayette Soccer Association will be hosting 2 preseason skills clinics, run by Pittsburgh Soccer Academy (PSA), for U8 boys and girls to kick off the Fall 2022 soccer season.
Who:
All incoming U8 soccer players (registered boys and girls with birth years 2015 or 2016) are invited to attend on EITHER or BOTH days.
In-House and Travel coaches (of all ages) are also invited to attend in order to learn drills for practices.
Each day is a separate and distinct session, with different drills used at each.
When:
Saturday August 20 and Saturday August 27
Times:
U8 boys: 9:00 to 10:30am
U8 girls: 11:00 to 12:30pm
Please arrive 15 min prior to session to check in and be assigned to a group
Where:
Preservation Park Field Group A (175 Triple Tree Lane Oakdale PA 15071)
Bring:
All players must wear shin guards, bring a size 3 soccer ball (with a name on it) and a drink.
Soccer cleats are highly recommended. Please dress your child appropriately for the weather and for physical activity.
Notes:
This is not a tryout or evaluation, and it is not mandatory. It is a complimentary skills camp offered by South Fayette Soccer Association in preparation for the upcoming season.
Parents must be present for the entire session but should remain on the paved track or fence area.
Parents are to remain outside of the designated field sections and avoid "coaching" your kids. The stations are meant to teach proper skills, and the sessions are not about winning or losing.
