Coaching Resources

South Fayette Soccer Association is governed by USYSA and PaWest Soccer.   Our governing bodies and Pennsylvania law mandate that all coaches must undergo a Criminal records check and Child Abuse History Clearance.  USYSA and PaWest also require that all coaches complete Safesport Certification, an online 2 hour course on predator and bullying prevention.  The link to PaWest Risk Management page that connects you to the required background checks is below.  For Safesport Certification, please contact your age group coordinator to obtain the link and access code that will permit you to take the training free of charge.  You can also email us at [email protected]

Coaching Education

U.S. Soccer has mandated coaching education for all coaches under its umbrella. As a member of PA West Soccer, South Fayette Soccer Association falls under U.S. Soccer. SFSA will make sure that every coach gets the information that they need to complete the required education.
